Step Research



A research goes well, according to Neuman WL (2007) there are at least 7 steps to be executed: choose a topic, determine the focus of the question, making the design of the study, collecting data, analyzing the data, interpret the results of the analysis, and terakhit make reporting. Overall this step is done with a guide theory.

At the beginning of the study, choosing a topic is important because it will lead researcher on the phenomenon to be studied. The selected topic will also be easier for researchers to determine what theory will be investigated. For example, in the context of science communication, research topics such as the effects of the mass media, the behavior of communicators, or non-verbal communication.

More specifically on the topic, is the focus of the question. In other terms can be referred to as a sphere or a limitation of the study. Here researchers selected aspects to be observed from earlier research topic. For example, on the topic of the effects of mass media earlier, we focus on the effects of food advertising on children's light. The more specific restrictions that we want to answer the question, the better and easier research executed.

Next we designed the study. Technical content related to the execution of the study. Type or variety of data such as what we want to take in the field. Including how what we will use to collect it. After ranpung, we can gather the data and analysis. We can analyze qualitatively or quantitatively. This analysis method has been first set when membaut research design.

The results of data analysis and then we interpret. The goal is to answer the question or focus pertenyaan who began the research that we do. Once completed, a report was made to explain the overall results of the study.
